Was training in super lite, uber tippy tandem race boat on town lake yesterday. Very fun but saw a guy on kayak with a flyrod, was envious!

Paddled san marcos river today, my first time in the carbon safari race boat. A little trickier than the aluminum. But fun! 19 days til race

3 days til I'm paddling in the Water Safari. 18 days til I'm fishing on the Big Hole. One of these seems like a lifetime away

Despite relentless rain, snow in the area, and 38 degrees we had killer day fishing the big hole yesterday. Man it was COLD!

One flight down, two to go. My mind starting to turn from paddling to drifting & casting. Plan: Big Hole on Friday. Anyone have fish report?
